Offical cards in TM 6900 card reader

will an art card work ok in a TM6900? Also how about a cyfra+ seca card?

Im worried about them updating. As far as i know a digitalb card updates ok (Conax).

I also have a diablo cam in case the TM's card slot wont work with these cards?

I dont know about Art and Cyfra+. But on my TM6800 both my Irdeto rev 5 and Cyrptoworks official cards work perfectly. The same Irdeto card does not work on my Diablo cam so I must say that I am very satisfied with the internal card reader found in the 6xxx series.

is the seca card opening with the original card reader? If so (could different by provider, see there instructions). In my case the validity is 1 month and the requirement is to watch on a regular basis for 1 hour on one of their channels. (seca-3 (Mediaguard 3))

I confirm my Sly official card DOES work in my TM6900HD Super with patch 6.79 mate - but NOT the previous one or two patches (e.g. 6.74):bowing-036:

Rather handy at the moment, borrowed a friend's old blue SKY card after they got a new white one, works a treat, and updates too.

It really doesn't matter if you call it Mediaguard3, Merlin or Seca4 (that's how it's described on polish websites) . Conclusion is that Cyfra+ card is not updating in TM slot.

opens sky here bot no update they normally last about 1and half months lads if that helps anyone i need to know whate date they need to go in origanal box to update keys

Dragon is updating Cyfra+ keys ok, but HD channels are not clearing, so once keys are updated move your card to TM reader and you are sorted ;] . I don't have diablo or matrix to confirm if it's working or not.

so defo for a dragon cam i assume latest software, this is good news as i will invest in a cyfra card now, as i wanted a sub that didnt need an offical stb etc. Thanks for your replys guys. Cyfra is very good value for the multipaket (Just canal+ only)
