Panasonic g10 series with cam and other sats

Hi there

My parents are thinking of buying a new tv and the panasonic tx-l37g10b seems to be the favourite at the moment.

Need to check a few things though.

From what I understand it will allow you to scan other satellites. My parents have a dual lnb setup pointing to 13e - 19e, can anyone confrm that this will scan ok?

Also will a wifi diablo cam work in the cam slot?

I have read various things on many boards but was hoping some kind people on here can confirm these things. Thank you.

Yes mate, FTA. But as my parents have a dual lnb setup I was wondering if it would tune both sats in. That bit wouldnt be dependent on wether the cam works or not.

Haven't read the spec for this TV but as it is probably for 'Freesat' it won't have DiSeqc switching, so will only scan the primary Sat. Presumably HB.

If it is similar to the earlier Freesat TVs it will scan any satellite but you will need a separate means to move your dish, or select which LNB to use.

think the g10 is the replacement of the z81?

thare are posts here of people using cam in z81
