Green Light But no Power

Hi,ive been looking at buying a tomtom go or one and ive seen some faulty ones on **** going cheap they all seem to have the green light problem and no display,ive been reading and it says u do a reset and hold power on button for so long is that right ? Seems to easy or is that right. Thanks

I doubt it, it's most probably a hardware failure of the charging circuit caused by many of the early in car chargers that stick 12v straight on the 5v line! If you search in the posts you will find this has been discussed before, with repair guides and replacement component details from RS, ******* etc

ah ok thanks,probly a waste of £20-30.Thought it sounded to easy, Will have to look at a new one.
