I've a technomate 6900 combo which I'm happy with but I have one small problem. I use my 8gb flash drive to record and playback stuff on it, but for some reason I can't play back the stuff when I connect it to my pc. I've tried windows media player, nero show time, real player and even quick time player. What do I need to do to get my recordings to play?

you need a media converter program .trp to .ts then these could play in VLC media player. Have not yet found the perfect solution.

Try downloading ( GOM player, ) That should solve your problem. Good luck.

I am not sure why you would expect a pc to play these files , as it can only play what it knows or has been installed to play , along with the correct codecs of course

as stated above , you have to convert it from the technomate recording files to those suitable for playing on a pc , same as you would on a mac or any other player , and the same applies if you wanted to make a dvd using those original files

or find and use a suitable player that can play back those original files

ie:- conversion for pc playback , conversion + authoring for dvd playback
