Having had a few DB's I would like to get a AZBox , before I get one can someone answer the the next 2 questions for me.

1) Is there a softcam that will allow me to clear TV Globo for the wife

2) Is the menu to view films from my hard drive on the network or on my PC easy, thinking of the wife again !!,.. Honest !

1- Probably you can use MultiCAS or mgcamd both work with softcams. Maybe someone else can confirm... but probably mgcamd is working as it works on other boxes.

2- Yes, multimedia part of this device is really good. Probably could be a lot better with newer firmware (still beta). But using fw 0.9.2032 is rock solid on all movies I have tried. Also youtube access is very good. Interface is very easy (easier than Enigma2 on Kathrein). And avi quality is a lot better too.

If you can handle beta stuff and wait for them to release fixes when bugs are added you should be fine.

Hello,

Yes you can add a C: line without any problem.
You can also run NewCS directely on the AZbox so no more need of DB.

Once you will taste AZbox, you will enjoy it.

My girlfriend appreciate it.

I use a DM500 as cardserver for AzBox no issues.

You just need confirmation that mgcamd softcam keys can open TV Globo... if it works on DB it will work the same on AzBox (mgcamd).
