Hi
I want to install a 1.5 m motor dish (currently have 80cm) but Im not sure if fixing it to the wall would be safe? Do a dish this size need to be on a flat surface?
Many thanks for your advice.

Dish of that size is normally installed at the ground level because of its weight. Plus you might need a permission from the council if you intend to hang up beyond the hight of your garden fence I believe. Regards
theres no way i would risk a dish of that size on a wall, the wind load in a strorm could very easily rip it off.
the biggest ive ever know on a wall is 1.2m.ian.

I wouldn't recommend it. I have a 1.2m on my wall, my installer said thats the largest he would wall mount. Personally, i've never seen one bigger than this on a wall, all been on the ground.
