Hi People, has anybody tried to connect to a network using a wireless usb dongle on the Elite ? Can it be done ?

don't have the box, from the product specifications:

Internet access:

* Wireless and RJ45 connection Wirelessly over WLAN and via RJ45 connection
* Web interface for remote control of the receiver's
* Update on the Internet, USB and serial port for update
* Web browser
* RSS newsreader
* E-mail client (POP Only)

looks like these options only for connecting to the web:

Wireless Ethernet Bridge: setup the bridge on the pc, when it is configured move it to the AZBox ethernet port
Internal power grid: mains plug Ethernet adapter to mains plug Ethernet adapter

the AZBox Premium has a 802.11b/g miniPCI installed, don't know if this is possible for the AZBox Elite?

Hello,

If you need WiFi choose Premium it is built-in.
There is not know USB dongle knew to work on the Azbox Elite so far.
Otherwhise connect a Ethernet to WiFi bridge on the Elite.

maybe someone will make some .ko Packages with a bunch of WiFi USB Sticks, but Im sure, the Devs will never do this, because they would sell there Premium and not Elite with WiFisticks

is there a slot for mini pci wifi module on the elite?

I've checked and There is no internal wifi Card Slot into the Elite model ;)
