I keep getting error message after selecting TV
First it says going to sat position Astra and hangs on that, so I exit and then it says.
'Problem occurs on the system Please reboot.'
I have scanned channels in satellite no problem but does not let me watch them.
I reboot but it's still the same. Just comes up with same error.
Have tried firmware 2032 and 2163

I had a problem when I edited somebody's list and ried putting it into the rec.
Then, I deleted all the channels, scanned it all and made my own.
Worked.
Maybe you need to reinstall?
I noticed that whole installations can sometimes go wrong, for whatever reason...:o10:
Done the same way - but different results... So, maybe re-do it, m8...

I reinstalled again.
I tried on a fixed dish from fresh install of 2032 firmware.
Scanned in 28.2E.
Goto TV
Get system error.
No change.
Just reboots itself all the time unless I press exit after the error, and that takes me back to settings menu.
Had another error in the System menu..... Unable to receive data err= -1

Try entering your Latitude and long in the settings.
That might fix it. Delete's itself on every reboot with the latest firmware.

I think this will fix error : upload an older sw from USB with format app. area .

Hello,
For whatever reason your channel list gets corrupted in a way that prevent the Azbox from booting properly and it crash and restart.
I had this problem the very first time with one of the Euronews channel (don't remember which one either on Astra 19 or Hotbird 13). Simply by zapping on this channel it corrupt the channel list... very strange.
The problem is that if you have no luck after scanning for new channels, it sometimes ends on the Euronews... so your box fail and restart forever. The problem is the Azbox remember the last channel and restart on it that crash the box...
Solution 1:
Try to upgrade via the USB stick and format application area, do not restaure your current channel_list because it can be the main cause of the Azbox reboot problem.
Solution 2:
Another trick that works for me is to press the Home menu and go to Youtube for exemple... then connect via FTP and replace the channel_list in DISK2 with a clean one (if you have one somewhere, there are some channel_list available on the forum).

Thanks valerica. ALL OK now!
I installed old version 91387 and that worked ok.
Re-installed 92032 and this works again now.
In addition, before I did the above, I also disconnected HDD and also removed and re-connected backup battery.
Thanks again to all that helped. :D :)

Oh well...
Reconnected the HDD.............
Got same system error...
Removed HDD with power off.
Now get no signal on motorised dish, but ok signal on fixed dish.
Diseqc 1.2 has stopped working as can't move dish.
More fun and games.... NOT. :cuss:

Tried that but still does not move the dish.
It's only needed for USALS, but I have Vbox.
It used to work, as did the HDD, but it all seems to be falling apart.

Try re-formatting the HDD.
See my post no. 17 in the "How to update the FW" and do it exacly like that.
Delete all the channels, all the plugins, reset to factory values, reboot from USB, format the apps area, install FW 2032, reset to factory values, SORT OUT YOUR SETTINGS FOR THE DISH PART IN SETTINGS - DiSEqC 1.2 etc., find sat TV positions from scratch, save them all one by one, scan for channels... etc. etc.
Might just work... We hope... ;)
Good luck!

Everything seems to be working again now, including HDD.
The diseqc issue was a poor connection on my vbox patch cable, so not an Azbox issue.
Tried various firmwares and resets. Reformatted HDD
Now up and running on 2238 version. :respect-050:
