I can see the current key in the white box along bottom. Comes up straight away. Will be interesting to see what is in the white box when there is a change! Can't wait!!

someone is just posting the key then, when it changes they post the next.

Key finder sounds a bit fancy and technical for just a post !

'Fancy' maybe but if it helps folks to gain faster info re: the key change then job done!

Think too that any key finder, tool or http that relieves bandwith from Satpimps during a 'change' has to be beneficial to users here......so the post from Glenn_911 is certainly well intended and helpful.

Respect to all here. 34944

I wasn't having a go at glen_911, I was just surprised at what it was.

I agree if it can save the board being swamped at key changes then its a good idea, I've just had another look at it and it does seem to operate off the board, I didn't notice this last night.

Its a very good idea then.

its about time you dumped that useless OS Jim and either went back to XP or used windows 7.
its been nothing but a ballache for you and we could write a book about all of your problems associated with it.ian.

If you opened the Keyfinder with a hex editor

scroll down to : 00283B3

you will see the following

you will see the uploaded textfile

After the next keychange should the author change the text file to new key for digi tv the new key will be displayed :D

as ian says in his reply , you should dump vista and use a decent , tried and tested , os like xp pro :)

nobody running vista has the right to confirm or deny what works and what doesnt , the acid test is in xp

its not called vistarghhhhh for nothing

frankly , I wont give it 1p worth of electrickery in my house as all my pc,s are running flavours of xp only

Ok point taken guys, but what about katie in post #15?:respect-050:

As a matter of interest, despite trying it several times already previously, I have just tried again on Vista - and lo & behold it has worked this time, so can only assume its a little unstable whilst using Vista!

Working here on XP.
Seems like a good idea but just wonder when next keys are needed how quickly it will update? time will tell.
Only one little quibble, it would be easier to read if numbers were in pairs.
ie. 44 A4 ** ** ** etc. but if it updates quickly I will live with that..

Perhaps it needs to be with and without spaces as my emu prefers not to have the spaces.

Just reversed it.

All it does is go to _http://profsat.summerhost.info/digitv.txt and then displays the text file.

Seems to be a lot of code for that but I can't see any malicious entries.

Like i said in a earlier post

After the next key change should the author change the text file to new key 00 for digi tv the new key will be displayed

And i see the author has complied :respect-056:

But did anyone remember to check earlier, to see how quick the Digi Tv key textpad was edited with the current key ?
