I have a slyHD box(Thompson) is it possible to fit a external hard drive because if you record a lot of programs in HD it fills up to quick

external port is not enabled by sly.
2 possible solutions

replace internal hard disc by bigger disc
disconnect internal harddisc and provide a connection from inside the slyHD box to outside

remark:

this can void warranties
All recordings, with the exception of Free To Air Channels, are encrypted with broadcast standard encryption. This means they can not be played back on a PC.
