Hi
I about 6 months ago updated my DD Amp, and since the inclusion of the AC3 default and AC3 Downmix options i've never had any problems with either Amp.
A few days ago i run the roomEQ which i've done many before without any faults, but sadly this time i'm getting what i can only describe as loud cracking type noise coming from the front speakers particularly when changing from an Analog channel to a DD channel, i've tried everything a man can try, rewiring my speakers, checking my HDMI inputs/Outputs, and so on and so on.
Then i see the AC3 Default option, thought sod it and turned off both options whereas i've ever enabled the AC£ Defailt option, well that solved the problem.
So why after all this time should this problem start happen?
and what i thought were the correct settings now appear to be wrong settings.
Phew:o10:so can someone tell me what is the correct setting using an Amp? and what do the AC3 options mean then?
sorry for the long post but i've got to get this sorted properly.
Thanks & Regards: canthackit
