No MP3 Playback

I have tried MP3 playback both from internal HDD and other networked disks but it does not work. The inbuilt Nabilo Media Player recognizes files, but does nothing. I have even downloaded Media player plugin, but nothing again. Do I have to separately install codecs and what to use? Cheers!

I have had problems playing audio cds in BH v1.0 using the media player and found that by going back to BH v0.9 cures the problem. It seems to be the updated dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.12-5.1-brcmstb-dm8000-files that cause the problem. The later ones cause the same problems in v0.9 that I experienced with v1.0. I never tried mp3 files on v1.0 but I have played them on v0.9 from CF and USB memory stick.

Not tried to play MP3 files until you posted .... hmm doesn't work!
More investigations methinks....

Glad to hear it is not only me. I do not need DM as a MP3 player, but would be nice to work.
