Clear guidance on how to install incubus/CCcam?

Firstly, this forum has given me an amazing amount of really useful info on my AzBox Premium - so, a very big "Thank You" to all those who have given time and expertise to help those of us who are new to this box.

Secondly, I HAVE read the various Howtos and Tutorials available on the forum - but I'm having no luck getting CCcam (beta3) to run.

I hope the answer to my request will help not only myself, but also other newbies.

With my Dreambox 800, it was easy to install and configure CCcam.

However, I'm finding the IncubusCamd/CCcam experience to be very difficult.

Using AZ Box EMU CCcam Installer ver 1.0, I have installed incubus/ccam, the AzBox shows it is the ONLY EMU that I am running. The problem now is configuration.

The installer places a incubusCamd folder into EMU/OpenXCAS.
The incubusCamd folder includes a.sh file, which I deleted (using DCC).
This leaves:
incubusCamd.conf
incubusCamd.prio
incubusCamd.sigma
openxcas.conf
and a README file.

I have the CCcam.config and CCcam.prio files from my Dreambox.
My C line has the format:
C: servc.baffled.com 12002 username password no

What changes should I make to the various incubusCamd files
in order to get CCcam working?

CCcam AZ = DM CCcam 2.1.0 or UP
IncubusCamd 0.55 AZ = DM CCcam 2.0.10 or DOWN

firstly, why delete the .sh file? this is used to stop and start incubus by the remote, which you will need as it will hang at times.

The installer, if i remember, lets you put the one C: line in. There is probably no need for any other config changes.

Incubus works to a cccam server upto and including 2.0.11.

you can start incubus in telnet session to see whats happening

cd /EMU/OpenXCAS/incubusCamd
killall incubusCamd.sigma
./incubusCamd.sigma
