Which of the three currently used light sources for large (greater than 42") will last longer.
I see that the latest plasmas say "up to 100,000 hours" (half life.)

Regular fluorescent seem to last a long time, but direct backlight from LED's ?

LED's light bulbs have an expected useful life 3-5 times longer than fluorescents, if that's anything to go on.
