View Full Version : 9100 expectation?

i have just bought a 9100 super, my quwstion is what can i expect different from the 5500ci apart from the linux and HDD , in term of channels etc?

Plus , how difficult is the 9100 to use?

any help would be great,thanks rob

a tm1000 or 5000 etc uses one software ( patch ) and updated by serial port ( or usb ) , or uses a cam like dragon or diablo

the tm9100 is a linux box and runs totally different pc type software , and very much depends on the owner learning many skills , and they customise the box using different softwares , images , emus and the like

so no 2 boxes are the same , and further complicated if you decide to use an mmc card and jiboot in order to run different images or dreambox images

you will open the same as any other box using the images and emus , so more or less digi tv at the moment ( using an image , an emu and softkeys )

Thanks for the info!! But am i right in saying the Potential is there for card sharing?

that potential is there with every STB with patched software that either has an ethernet connection, serial port or can use devices like diablo wifi

Yes its no different than a dreambox in that regard both run enigma 1 and use the same emus

Just a note the serial port dont work with card readers.

Hi mate how difficult or easy is the 9100s to use?
What sort of programm/software to use?

I have cas3+ already and a pc for updating when needed.

@ you would say that wouldnt you. :auto: I have to in cardealers defence they are good solid machine and do what they say on the tin. I have dm500 which quality wise is a piece of crap compaired to Tm9100s
