Could this be implemented in the future?, apparantly its a new DVB-S2 modulation and some M3d1as@t channels on 13e are already using it.

QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK and 32APSK are all modulation types used by the DVB-S2 standard. As for the 16/32APSK, donīt hold your breath, these are professional modulation types and as far as I know, the actual hardware (demodulators) in domestically sold stb's do not even support it.

Just noticed these Mediaset channels on 13E (and on 5W) that are using this new modulation. The thing i don't understand is the people that send in updates to sites like flysat & lyngsat, they've reported that these channels are using 16APSK, so surely they must have a receiver that supports it, or how would they know a channel is using it?

...as is plain to see, no 16/32APSK support.
