viaccess cam problem

hi my receiver is recognising the cam - but the cam is not recognising the card - all other cam and the receiver recognise the card - do i need to clean the cam ?

is this black or red CAM? what fw version? If it's RED try updating it ftom satellite

its red - you can't update it anymore from the satelltie - you need a laptop with a slot for it - but you need a cam adaptor which i dont have!
