are you running a patched software?
from remote select
menu
system information
it should show a version number with p
below you would see these menu's:
C A S and B I S S
if you don't see these?
if you did enter that sequence 8 2 8 0 you would get in the B I S S menu for that channel.
there you would enter the K E Y on a line from the remote.
As far as I know B I S S is not passed by uploading?
this is how it works for super TM 5200D USB, 5300D+
USB, 5600 CI USB & 5400 CI+ USB. It could be different for non super?
these k e y s have a verry short lifespan (most of them)

now comes the hard part, keying in the data:
with remote cursor of remote (ch-) drop down until first line is marked.
all numbers from keypad
all alpha input press info key:
1 x = A
2 x = B
3 x = C
4 x = D
5 x = E
6 x = F

important with numbers it jumps to the next possition.
with alpha you have to move the cursor to the right (V+)
when finished press exit and confirm save with yes.
try this out with the 1st line until you have the hang of it.
if the channel want open, be sure you have fresh code (most only 1 day working, or even less) check the code for typo.
if your are using this a lot, it might be good to keep track what line you used for what channel.
you only have 40 lines of these for all channels.
