23.5e sticking?

Further to my previous post I have put the 18-4-09 patch back in. Although I can get 23.5e now I still have the problem with having to switch the box on and off to clear it. Everything else is fine?
I re-scanned the satellite in case there had been changes, but no difference?
I do keep my dragon in for 1w, bt it never interfered before a few days ago?
I am baffled.:cool:

Why do you have your Dragon at all in when you get all a Dragon does with the TM patch?
Maybe you are also reading a smartcard?:respect-050:

Because 1w changes and the patch is not AU so I find it easy just to enter the keys with Dragon debug. And as I said it hasnt been a problem until a few days ago?
I reloaded the 18-4 patch and 23.5e worked fine for 2 minutes now its back to on off.
I have never done the softcam updates for 1w, perhaps I will have to learn.
Just loved my Dragon for so long.

Well I still DO love my Dragon - AND my T-Rex, which had promised SO much, but did you know you can update the keys on your TM patch too, without using the softcam?
Its just that the softcam is so much easier for your convenience - especially if you produce your own as I do!:respect-050:

I took my dragon out last night and 23.5e worked fine immediately!!
Strange its worked together with the patch for months and suddenly stops working? I wonder what has changed?
Of course I also lost 1w when I took the cam out.
Is there a tutorial thread on updating the patch keys anywhere?

easy: download latest, unpack, put it on the stick, put stick in TM. press USB symbol on remote (page 11 manual, key 14), select with remote cursor the file on the stick, press ok.

Dont think our friend MEANT softcam loading mate - I'd suggested he can also go into the patched TM6000 series and MANUALLY update the keys within the BISS Menu - and I can never remember WHICH lines are reserved for DigiTv as I always use the softcam!
As for actually getting into the BISS Menu you key '8280' - but after that I'm not sure which line(s) into which to add the latest keys!:respect-050:

Well done mate thats great - and thanks to Giga too - but all I was trying to state is that you CAN 'manually' input keys 'into' the patch too - even though obviously the USB softcam route is by FAR more convenient! Plus lets hope Kink comes up with some Dragon/T-Rex new updates soon eh?
