Did you enable all the features in Settings/Network Service?
This has to be done.
Then you may need to set a password using Telnet from your PC.

OK.
Are you using latest firmware? 0.9.2371
I connect fine wireless this version.
Maybe...
The wireless station has to be set up to allow connection from the AZbox mac address (the wifi mac address is different from the lan mac address)

Have you tried without encryption and on channel 1 for example modify AP or router just to verify that it connects.

I tried with encryption and without encryption. Also tried two wireless routers without getting it to work. I know my wireless connection is running with no problems using my laptop.

Try with any firewalls disabled on your PC.

hi mate, i had exactly the same problem as you .... i couldn't connect wirelessly from the box to my router, after loads of frustration the answer was..... so simple, my AZbox wouldn't recognise my router's ip address, so in the routers settings i had to obtain a new ip address for the internet, it was something crazy like 3.0.0.1... where now its 192.168.0.!..... your ip address HAS TO BEGIN 192.168..... (WHAT EVER.)
THIS SOLVED MY CONNECTION PROBLEMS
HOPE IT HELPS.
(I ALSO THOUGHT THE BOX WAS FAULTY).

Thanks guys for help. Now it works with my second router. hmmmm I think Azbox does not support wimax router, becuse now it works on the ADSL router but not on the wimax router. At least now I know the wifi is functioning:respect-023:

Again typical example of narrow minded software engineering.
I don't get why certain range ( in this case IP) should be nailed).
The default should be the one(s) mostly used but making unnecessary limitations / assumptions is :banghead:
Hello,
WiFi in the Azbox is "only" B/G card so if you have a "N" configure to work only in "N" mode for better performance it won't work.
You need to configure your WiFi Access Point to be compatible with B/G norms.
