Hi...should I be able to get 1w OK on a properly aligned 90cm dish...
At the moment, I have a 1m dish which is showing signs of age...rust...
and I lose 1w when it rains...other sats OK...30w to 28e although 16e is a bit iffy when it rains...actuator is also playing up...thinking of getting a90cm dish and disecq motor

Location???????
90, 80.. even a zone II sky dish will give good signal from where you are (if properly aligned) with a 1/2 decent lnb.
skomedal .. the clue is in the topic title :D

Friends of mine are doing very well on 60cms in the uk, keeping up with key changes is another matter.

60cm would definitely be too small in my part of the UK (N Lancs) especially in rainy weather!
Cheers!

I have finally taken the plunge and bought a new 1 metre dish, a Technomate 2600 diseq motor and .2db lnb...because of back problems, I need an installer to change dish and motor over...Can anyone recommend a good installer in south devon area and roughly what I can expect to pay for this...thanks
