Hi Guys
i know the lnb frequency can be critical. Up to having a new motor fitted DigiTV has not been a problem after i had a TM lnb fitted cos the old one would not pull in any transponders over about 11800 - have had no probs till new motor - no:cool:w resetting settings and once again I can get no trans over 11800 on Digitv - other sats are no prob and the lnb range is set to 9750 - 10-600on those - can anyone advise please? If the LNB is a universal type the default setting would be:
Lnb freq: 9750/10600
22 Khz: Auto
test on these FTA:
11325 H SR 24500 BBC World News
12169 H SR 28000 CETV

Thanks for that Giga- I have tried that bu all channels after about 11-700 are bad signal. It was because of this that I gad to get a new lnb about 9months ago - could it be that again? It seems to work with other sats in the 12500 range. Cheers - Brain
strange? single lnb on motorised dish? check the lead and the dish aligment, motor limits, your longitude and latitude settings
Save your channellist to USB stick and keep it on a safeplace. Take note of your settings for the 1°West location.
Download this list, unpack it and put it on the usb stick and upload. The sat position is split up over the 3 satellites Thor 3 & 5 & Intelsat 10-02. (0.8° & 1°W)
change the settings in this file for your motorised settings for these 3 satellites. See what you get and what not, may give you a clue if the problem is there on all these satellites or not (alligment problem) all the frequencies are received here on a 6800 HD (non super)
If it works check against your channellist.
good luck

Thanks Giga will try what you say. Though other Intel/Thor below 11700 coming in good strength and no trouble with those upper ranges on other satellites. Cheers. Brain
