Can anyone tell me how to get into hidden menus I can not find anything on 8281 please help

if you go in to the menu, does it show the technomate logo? If so you need to patch your STB. Take note you have 6900 and 6900 Super 2 different models.

Where can I download the latest patch for the TM-6900 SUPER, presumably the patch is different to the software update from the Technomate website?

I have now got my "8281" menu, can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get the most out of this rather interesting menu. If necessary please pm me rather than fall foul of the board rules.

Hi Giga,

I can get the 8281 menu and I can also get to [CAS] and [BISS] menuS. Presumabely this means that the patch is active? I have uploaded latest softcam using usb stick,but receiver will not open any scrambled channels without my diablo cam installed.
Does the softcam have to be loaded using a null modem lead and the tm loader as mentioned in this post :

If tm loader is required where can it be downloaded from?

no just put the latest softcam on memory stick and load as if you would the .stb now it is .key. should open some things at 1°W and 23.5°E without diablo. Diablo opens some more on 19.2° I think, for now?
when using diablo toggle patch 0n/Off (system information: 2 0 0 4)

Finally got my netgear router to recognize my 6900 super, had to leave it over night after various attempts rather than launch kit out of the window!
DHCP on wouldn't work for me until I gave the router my 6900's mac address, I also assigned an ip address 192.168.0.10 . I then rescanned on the technomate with DHCP on and all the zeros changed to "proper numbers".... Not entirely sure why but every thing appears to be OK:woot-035::woot-035:

Incidentally my sat receiver and my sons Xbox 360 are both on a different floor than my router and I connect both using Devolo dlan plugs, they're absolutely brilliant and allow your ethernet connections to work over your electrical wiring.

Is all of the information required provided by a CS provider or is some of the information peculiar to my LAN setup, ie do i get the port, DES key etc from my router?

for this purpose DES is used between sender and receiver has nothing to do with your home network.
could be needed to let the router forward the port or allow the used port access to the internet (outside your home network)
