bbc - still not supporting hd they way we want - have to say it - but whenever it comes to hd - sky are simply the best (yeah i know you pay for it ).

Premiere are showing the Open on their HD channel, not sure if it is upscaled, can anyone check?

It would and I'll make a formal complaint if that is true. We don't pay them to give a better service to other countries.

how do i check if it's upscaled?

on screen info it say's 1920 X 1080 that can't be right though.

watching it now looks good to me, and BBC commentary would you believe.

I have it upscalling through my [ Technomate TM HD Combo Super + ] At [1080i ] That if far as the Techo Goes:) [ Great Picture, so i cannot complain ? Also tried running it through my [ TOSHIBA ]DVD Recorder ? Which has the upscaller to [ 1080p ] Not much Differnce from the Techo ? So Basically Everyone should be ****ed off with the BBC , Not showing on HD :respect-067:

so if i've got a 1920 X 1080 HDMI 1.3 screen and a 1920 X 1080 Amp HDMI 1.3a Amp.............picture is not quite as good as $$$ sports so as you say problay upscaled to 1080i i dont think it's on par with 720p so maybe 576p................mind you it's still much better than what auntie beeb is offering.

Do not no what tv @reciever you are using m8 ?? You do not want to go down the way m8 Example [ 720p @ 576p] [ 1080 i ] Is the Highest i have seen on Sky ? But sometimes you get true [1080p ]On Eurosport HD Plus a few others:respect-055:

Well i've got the Pioneer LX5090 PDP and the Onkyo 607 Rec, gotta say in my opinion the german channels ie Premier always look the best, the germans do it better :rolleyes:

Saw Steve Marino walking off a green yesterday and walking straight past a tv camera WITH A BIG HD LOGO ON IT!!!!
So HD cameras are definitely being used there!!
