It is what i always said

with an alternative system like enigma2 we would be able to use all the plugins compiled for mips dreamboxes (no need to recompile them like some people always say ...)
because the processor is compatible

The problem is the crappy software not the hardware of our azbox
without the standard apis the receiver is wasting 90% of his potential

kanber try with DVB API = -1 in CCcam.cfg under /var/etc , and you can also play with some extra parameters under telnet ( CCcam.mips --h )

and who do not care about that may carry on using official fw...

did you already set the resolv.conf file ?
i have to change this to get internet acces in debian.


vi /etc/resolv.conf

then i put in my router ip adress.


**** search wan
**** nameserver 192.168.2.1

check if ping works,hope this helps!

Could we just find what libraries are needed from Debian to be installed on regular Firmware so we could just run native CCcam DM7025 as server on AzBox? That way we don't need to install full Debian just add a few needed files to firmware?

Problems are different Apis only, libs are some working 1:1

I dont understand why closedbud dont give some Sources to Programmer like Mower or other who will build some nice Things.
The guys are here, who will build something good for AZHD, I know one, who will write a nice Infobar, but he cant without sources.
Also some other good Guys are here for to do something for this Box, but they cant.....no Peace of sources.

Noone will ALL sources, only Parts that are urgent to make something
