There seem to be problem with Irdeto-encrypted channels using CCcam 2.1.1 patched by The_Ripper. Even though I have a local card, many channels dont open, They dont request ECM. Sometimes they open but most often they dont. Using CCC 0.2, There is no problem at all, but we all know the limitations of 0.2. So, I hope something can be done. Thanks.

In /EMU/OpenXCAS/dvbapiCAS modify the line stating wih LD-.. in dvbapi.sh with this :
LD_PRELOAD=/EMU/lib/libdvbapi.so /EMU/lib/ld.so.1 --library-path /EMU/lib/ /EMU/lib/CCcam.mipsel -dlv -C /EMU/lib/CCcam.cfg &
Cheers ,
Val .

I did that but there is no improvement. Still the channels hit or miss. sometimes open and most often not despite it is a local card.

Maybe you need to use .prio file to help? You might have a bad peer on other caid that makes it fail. On CCC because there is no .prio it probably only works on first caid and it works for you.
Try to add first caid on pmt list to your .prio file to see if it works better.
me too but what can you do :(
that's the best we can do at the moment ,let's hope for better one soon ;)
bloody dm8000 hasn't got all those multimedia compatibility !!!
if so I may order one ;) we as a family really fedup LOL
she is gonna kill me soon LOL

It is an Irdeto related problem. The channels I have the problem with belong to orbit network on Eurobird2 25.5E and they use two encryption systems namely Irdeto 0668 Caid and Seca 00002f caid. Some channels dont send ECM request to the server hence they dont open. They mostly open first time when I have just switched on the box. I edited the prio file and ignored the Irdeto Caid and these channels now send ECM request non-stop in contrast to the irdeto that may stop at any moment despite the card is functioning and at hop1. It is a pity that the seca system is an old one and its gonna be replaced soon by the irdeto counterpart so the cards not available to decode the channels. I hope there is a way to solve this problem or may The_Ripper generously develop the CCC further to support multiclines.
Thanks.

Have you tried launching CCcam 2.0.11 instead of 2.1.1? maybe there is no problem with that one. Give it a try before going back to CCC. You could just change the CCcam.mipsel binary.

I have just tried that and it did not solve the issue.
Thanks.

Then might be that problem is on dvbapiCAS and how it transfers ecms for those channels. Maybe TheRipper can help with this issue. Until then seems CCC is only option.
