speed camara help [Archive]

for some reason my new 7 day old tom tom xl iq will not show any speed camaras or warnings,ive st the tom tom to enable alerts,even gave it its own sound but nothing,tom tom home states that the camaras are on my tomtom,but cant get them to work,i have made a back up of the tom tom and the safety camara file is in a folder called united kingdom and republic of ireland.it is a ver file.poi's work but cant get camaras to work,any ideas before i take it back to the shop

What speed camera files are you using the ones from Tomtom or the pgpsw files posted on the forum ?

the ones from tom tom mate,i aint patched,as its brand new and dont want to mess it up

Never used them - so can't help sorry.
Hope you have made a full back up copy of your Tomtom.
