I have done a stupid thing I have deleted everthing off my old tomtom as I was just experimenting but when I tried to restore it I found out the backup I made was deleted when I had a computer crash.

I have managed to connect to tomtom home where it has gave me a operating system but when its boots up I get no maps found ?? can anyone help.

Thanks

Hi,

You need to read all the posts shown in this posting:

"TomTom Go 300 Help"

It is three down from your post, it applies to your TomTom or any other TomTom.

All you need is posted in the sticky posts in this section - guide to update your tomtom - latest UK maps & latest UK postcode files.

What version of Tomtom have you got ? Keep trying to update until no more updates are available.

If you patch your Tomtom you can then use the v830.2306 map which will also need activating. Activation tools & guide are posted on the forum.

Alternative is to use a patched version of Navcore - v8.204 is posted on the forum, but there are newer versions available, then you can use the v830.2305 maps which have the ALG & IQ routes. With this version you don't need to patch your Tomtom but will still have to activate any maps.
