i have a tomtom 730 with map west and central europe 2gb v800.1762 is it possable to put a map on a 2 gb sd card wiht out patching my tomtom just useing the map on the tomtom if it is can some one tell me how to do it thanks:respect-055::banghead:

thanks for getting back the Navcore software version is 8.351 so what map do i need to use the map is v800.1726 the reason i want to put a new map on is that map is v800.1726 is missing some areas when i put a post code in UB111AA it says no route found thanks:respect-040:

You can use the latest v830.**** maps (use one with the IQ routes & ALG) - have a look at this compatibility chart :-

And get the latest v901 postcode file here :-

(Postcode UB111AA = Unnamed Road, Uxbridge)

can i put the v901 postcodes in the map i have already got on my tomtom to up date the post codes thanks:applause-003:

Put the 2 postcode files into the folder named ' zip '. Don't know if show on your map though ??, but it does work with the v830.2305 UK & RoI map.

I CHANGED THE POST CODES BUT IT STILL NEVER FOUND UB111AA AND YET THE BUILDINGS HAVE BEEN BUILT FOR 15 YEARS IM A BIT DUBIOUS ABOUT PATCHING THE TOMTOM INCASE I CAN NOT GET IT TO WORK AGAIN:respect-050:

No problem patching it using the guide & tools I've posted on the forum, but to be on the safe side - make a full back up copy first.
