TomTom Mobile Navigator - Nokia E50

I have the Tom Tom mobile Navigator software (v6.01.s60v3) installed on my Nokia E50 with a 675 map of western Europe.

It's been a while since I updated but am going to France in 3 weeks and would like to get up to date with latest maps etc.

Do I just need to locate an up to date map for the software I already have - and what would that be?

.....or can I update to a later version of software (and map) and what would that be.

Quite happy to work through links and follwo instructions to update maps software etc - just need a bit of help as to what I can / can't get to work on Nokia E50 before I start (and mess it up!)

Any pointers would be truly appreciated.

You've already got the latest map - v675 that will work on the symbian devices.

Two more questions you could maybe answer

1) My 675 map version is as follows:

Do the 675 maps get updated (say each year) with new roads etc i.e. could there be a later build and if so - is there a newer map for my Symbian phone - or is that it and these 675 maps don't get updates etc?

2) I also have a TomTom 700. Which software and maps should I be able to upgrade to. I will find the right threads etc and follow instructions - would just be good to know (from the expert) which software and map I should be looking for / hunting down...... I'm still on v675 on the Tom Tom also!

PS - I've been a bit lazy on the old satnav front for a while - as you can see!!

No mapshare updates for the v675 maps & no more new versions, you're stuck with what you've got.
The latest official navcore is v7.903 & you can use the v830.2306 maps with it. Or you could try using a v8 S/E copy - I've posted v8.204 on the forum which I'm using on my Go500 - I think it will work for you, but not 100% sure, if it does work you can use the v830.2305 maps - these have the IQ routes & ALG. There are a few newer v8 versions around, but I'm staying with 8.204 as all works fine at the moment for me.


Official v7.903 will need patching, the v8.204 is already patched. Both version will require the map to be activated - see the guide I've posted - one of the sticky threads in here.
