Yes - latest patch seems to be working perfectly so far - except the DigiTv AU has not yet been tested of course!
Not really quite sure how to use the new spe ct r u m analyser - assume its for accurately locating satellites!:number-one-043:

Could use this to test cable and LNB('s): loss of some frequencies.
Think you might need a prefabricated lab measuring grade sat cable for the lnb testing?

if you are talking about the analyzer?
you should not have a sharp drop somewhere, could indicate some frequencies are not getting thru. Default it shows the low frequency using the 22Khz switch (ON/OFF), it shows the upper frequency of that lnb.
it shows sometimes in light blue, anyone have a clue what the difference is between yellow and light blue bar?
Anyone already found some instructions on this beauty?

well somewhere there, look at the bottom of the screen for getting in the filter screen where you can enter c a i d and i d e n t of the provider for the c a r d s h a r i n g
Think this only passes the correct demands to the c a r d s e r v e r and not passing incorrect requests from other providers. Also read this thread: Ethernet & Serial Treat (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=95126)

8281 now shows 24 possible connections, but I can only get numbers 1 to 4 to actualy work. Do we still have only 4 usable connections ?

could be a difference when used with serial or ethernet? think this was a fix for serial having working 4? I'm not in to this C S thing.

Thanks Johntee - I got there in the end.

On a different point I have noticed that Rai, mezzo and Equidia PRO are not clearing now. DK and Globo are fine as are **** channels (with card)

Any advice on the softcam would be greatfully received

Sorry mate but wasnt having a 'go' at YOU, but the ORIGINAL perpetrator of this file and its new features - something as important (?) as this surely needs some serious explanation?
So YOU are a great guy who obviously tries as hard as the rest of us to fathom things out!

LNB measurement (4 possible):
select your satelitte (multifeed)
22Khz: OFF Polarization: V: 10.700 ~ 11.700 HHz
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/uu270/Jan_Gruuthuse/TMmenu/192Astra1LVLow.jpg

22Khz: ON Polarization: V: 11.700 ~ 12.750 HHz

The frequency range displayed is determined by a transponder list of a satelitte/satellite position.

protocol used: only N e w c a m d so you need details for that one:
ID = u s e r n a m e or l o g i n
password for that s e r v e r
D E S - K E Y needed to (en/de)c r y p t the trafic. That is all i figured out.
I think you can find additional information here:

If you go from laptop to the stb without passing a router or switch, you should use a crossover cable (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?p=627221) <= read here

Connecting the STB direct to the router via ethernet cable only seems to work on connections number 1 to 4. I've tried several combinations of connections in tne various boxes, but only 1 to 4 seem to connect. The connections from 5 upwards may have to go through a computer, as you said earlier. Still a learning curve on this one. Can't seem to find any info on it anywhere. I'll keep plugging away.

some options:
Zoom Green Button opens the AGC search

after pressing OK you see the signal range from 100 to 255:
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/uu270/Jan_Gruuthuse/Frequency%20Analizer/002ZoomedTPListappears.jpg

Lock Yellow Button starts locking the frequencies showing up in green bars:
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/uu270/Jan_Gruuthuse/Frequency%20Analizer/004ZoomedLocking.jpg

When the frequencies are found you can list these by the Blue button:
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/uu270/Jan_Gruuthuse/Frequency%20Analizer/005TPlistlock.jpg

when using the Info button it tries to find the satellites in your satellite list. (my own satellite list, split out the satellites on each position, easy for measuring and pointing, fixed lnb's)
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/uu270/Jan_Gruuthuse/Frequency%20Analizer/006InfoSearchchecking.jpg

found the 1st satellite (Lock), continue search: press the Red button
