[ 4.2.2 Feeds ] is professional. Maybe it is possible hardware wise and could come in a new firmware? Is there more info arround on this? Let us know!

Before I bought this box? I looked into this ??? Somewere it said it supported [ 4.2.2 ] It has Blind Search, Which you need for looking [ Mayby a Software update will do the Trick ?:rolleyes:


But iff All Fails [ Skystar2 HD PCI CARD ] Is going into my New Computer ? That has The Power now to run the card [ Old Computer was not upto it ]LOL:beatdeadhorse5:

I think Azbox HD is the only current standalone receiver capable of directly decoding 4:2:2 feeds.

Strange m8 ? A Cheap [ Skystar 2 HD ] Card can do it ?? All these recievers comming into the market cannot !!!!!!!!! Are taking the **** or what?;)

I'm happy with my TM6900HDsuper & TM6800, would be nice if a firmware could open the 4.2.2. Feeds. The main factor is the chipset, does it support the 4.2.2? Don't have that info? Maybe someone else can?
My understanding on Azbox HD, it decodes some 4:2:2 feeds

Sigma SMP 8634 chipset:
4:2:2 compatible: SD 4:2:2 feed, HD 720p 4:2:2 feed and not HD 1080i 4:2:2 feed
is what I could find, so check that the Skystar2 HD PCI Card reads the streams you want!

High 10 Profile (Hi10P): Going beyond today's mainstream consumer product capabilities, this profile builds on top of the High Profile, adding support for up to 10 bits per sample of decoded picture precision.
High 4:2:2 Profile (Hi422P): Primarily targeting professional applications that use interlaced video, this profile builds on top of the High 10 Profile, adding support for the 4:2:2 chroma subsampling format while using up to 10 bits per sample of decoded picture precision.
High 4:4:4 Predictive Profile (Hi444PP): This profile builds on top of the High 4:2:2 Profile, supporting up to 4:4:4 chroma sampling, up to 14 bits per sample, and additionally supporting efficient lossless region coding and the coding of each picture as three separate color planes.
High Stereo Profile: This profile targets two-view stereoscopic 3D video and combines tools from the High profile with inter-view prediction capabilities of Multiview Video Coding extension.
