reading box key ?

I have been following this thread https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=101221&page=17 with interest , and am now looking at how to retrieve a box key from a working blue card in my tm9100 , running edg 4.4 at the moment

its running CCcam_2.1.1 and newcs v1.65 , and decoding ok

tried the telnett commands similar to post 331 in https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=101221&page=17 but get error messages and not what I expected

the ip address is ok in dcc 2.95 and I can get into the box ok , its just the commands are either failing or I am not doing the telnet part correctly , probably typing errors or something ?

anyway , if anyone has successfully managed it I would appreciate a few simple pointers please

Put the card in the internal reader of your DM800 which works with CCcam.

Next use telnet to start CCcam and you will get your boxkey.

so it doesnt work with a tm9100 but does work on the dream ?

presumably thats why several dream users replied in that thread then

need to take the lid off my htpc case to get the card in , will try tomorrow and test the 3 blue cards I have here , lol

must make an extension to this card slot by modifying an old season or something , as I want access to a card reader through the dvd flaps on the front of the unit ( last task for this dm800 modification project ) :)

Sold my 9100 ages ago so can't give you a decent answer but I do know how to with the 800 or any dreambox so I can tell you for sure that it works and how to do it.
