Hello all

I'm trying to set up a motorised dish for the first time, and i've come across a problem, i was wondering if someone experienced could help me out....

I've even drawn a little diagram and everything :cup-006:

Okay so if you have a quick look at this...

You'll see i've drawn points '1' and '2'....

My question is, once i've set point '1' on the motor to the correct latitude/elevation, at what angle do it then set the dish at point '2'?

Perfectly vertical or do i need to replicate it the same as point '1'?

Any help would be mostly appreciated!

Thanks,

set point 1 to your location m8 then lock off, then presuming your in uk,go to 1 west (thor)the highest point on the sat arc then tweak dish at point 2 for your best signal on 1 west, and your most easterly and most westerly sats ,get the best signal you can on all 3,thats how id do it
remember move the whole lot on your pole east and west m8 not the dish on the mount to find thor ,and if your pole is plum ,that should be it
