Hi guys,

1st post here and a noob to Linux stb and CCcam, been wanting to make the change for a year or so now but finally took the plunge with the Az.

I have installed auto ccam 2.0.4 (by terrorman) onto my box by doing this:

FTP the cccam folder over to the root of the AZ
Telnet and chmod 755 the cccam folder
run the cccam setup and installed and its running.

Now i want to get a test account for a pay server, but as they only last 24hrs i dont want to get it and then spend half it is peeing around getting my cccam working.

Am i now at the stage where i get the c line from the server owner and enter it into my cccam.cfg and off i go, the channels he owns will clear?

Thanks in advance.

thomo™ don't pay for cs servers, they are illegal and immoral, they are profiting from a service that doesn't belong to them. Get an cheap local card, and share it.

i looked around last year when i had the Digitalb Supersport card for a server to join that i would share my card with but nobody seemed interested, hence i forgot about the idea of a linux reciver until the Az come out and twisted my arm.

Maybe i was looking int the wrong place?

Is there anywhere you guys recommend?

I also have Sky UK full HD but i dont want to share this because i want to keep the card in the official sky reciever because of the EPG etc and its easier for the kids and wife to use!

A lot of people didn't need C+/Digitalb cards due to a certain hack existing.

If you still have the card then PM me and I can show you a good place to start.

Yes, this is a etic problem.

What is legal and what is not. Sharing is, if You ask me, a thing You do with Your friends, like lending a record or a movie.

Noone is really making money on it and noone is really losing money.

If You have a card and pay for it then I think it´s not likely that You even consider getting one more (and pay for it).

In this sharing is OK I think (well for me at least)

However if You just pay and have nothing to share then someone is making the money that should go to the sat companies. So I can understand that they hunt.

Anyway, get together with a few good friends and share what You have, perhaps not the wife and toothbrush but the rest.:respect-050:
