freesat on humax 5400

got my dish pointing at 28.5e scanned for channals found quite alot ,the problem is only a few are open, most chanals i can only hear audio and have no picture does anybody know why as these channals are supposed to be fta,,,,,,,,,, thanx

Only a few channels on 28E are FTA, notably the Freesat channels.

Most of the others you will need a subscription to that well known media giant.

channals like c4, c4+1,film 4, itv etc are not openning,all i can get is sound and no pictures

if channels arnt opening make sure the software in the receiver is up to date

with the humax free sat box when you do an auto tune it only tunes in 154 channels
when you have tuned in the free sat ones go back in to the menus and do an manual tune it will now tune in 370 channels
then in the menus you will get
free sat channels 154
none free sat channels 370

all the other free sat receivers will only tune in the 154 free sat channels
to tune in the none free sat channels you will have to add them manually
none free sat frequency's are
