Remote problem

Using blackhole image, I seem to (occasionally) lose the operation of the remote control?
I have tried pressing the dream button,pulling out the batteries, but the box still doesn't respond to the remote. (don't mention batteries please! - lol)
Sometimes a re-boot will sort it, other times it won't, and when I eventually get the remote to work, it operates really slowly, trying to scroll through the menu's is a nightmare.

Anyone else experienced this?

Perhaps it's time for a change of image!

Are you using the latest Second stage and drivers ?

I think it is the latest version, I'll check tonight when I get home.

Has there been a problem with previous versions?

There have been so many bug fix's and updates with both the 800 and 8000.

It's always worth updating and trying a fresh installation when you get problems like this.

No mate, tried that, and even pressing the dream button don't make it work, TV button lights up when you click it, and then flashes after every press of any button,
same goes with the dream button, that flashes when you press it, and then flashes after you press any other button.

Bit strange that it just locks up like that and won't operate anything!l

Reloaded nabilo blackhole v0.11, and remote is still locking up?

any ideas?

I have now this problem with DM 800 no ideas left what to do, any ideas let me know

im not sure about E2 as i still only have a 7020,but with E1 images there are settings inside the menu's to adjust the remote sensitivity,might be worth checking out.
also,open up the camera on your mobile and look through that when you are pressing the keys on your remote.it will enable you to see the infared beam being sent to the box and check out that its not intermitent and therefore a problem with the remote itself.Ian.

I have an issue with Technomate 6800HD Super remote control, I have worked out that it is interference from my Philips videosender which somehow blocks the rm signal.

When I disconnect the videosender the issue goes away.

sorted DM 500 was causing the friction. Put it off problem fixed.
