tm softcam question

is it possible to open anything else on any sat ecept 1w useing 303 or latest s/cam as i looked around and see ke,s in s/cam for 13/19.2 i have tried entering them manualy but cant get chns open , any help much appreciated ,thank you pat..

Don't know anything about a 303 but with latest softcam on Technomate Sirius 4.8'E clears Hustler TV and Blue hustler 12.111 H 27.500.

Are you using a Motorised Dish? I think if you give more hardware info you wouldl get a better answer than mine....

thank you plessy i am useing tm1500ci+ with latest patch 303 and 1 m fixed dish which is low enough for move by hand great sigs on most sats here on east coast of ireland, was asking as i dont want to be stuck with only 1 or 2 sats open for ever, i probably will have to go cam route if patches wont open any more chns. cheers.pat.

Sorry I forgot the Tm1000 uses different patched to the 5400 so the 303 bit confused me as I've never had on But hear they are as good as the 5400 but not sure if it has a CAM Slot or not ?.

If your using Just the one Dish your Best bet is to stick with 1'West as there is a far better selection there than 19 or 13 east.
There used to be a lot more open last year on them sats but 19 went to Nagra 3 so that put a end to a lot of film channels. If you had 2 Dishes and a DiSeq Switch you could fix one on 1'W and the other on 28'E for the BBC's and ITV's etc. etc., or better Still go down the motorised route for greater flexibility. However Motor's can be a bit daunting to those not in the know. But if your thinking about a cam then the Diablo will get you a few more packages on 19.2East i.e. Film 1,2,3 Discovery,TCM Eurosport, MTV's VH1 and a few adult 2 adult channels after 10pm. but still not as great a selection as 1'West. Also if you get a Diablo cam you'll need a CAS programmer, so be prepared to spent around €140 to 160 odd depending on retailers. This is not a guaranteed FOREVER. Its a risk you take but I can't fault mine even after a year or so It has pay'd for itself ten times over.. play around a bit more before you part with the hard earned cash...You Have Been Warned :-)

qk plessy many thanks for reply i use [1000 seriespatch] as when the patch comes out there is a file for 1500ci model as well,also this model has card reader and cam slot so realy i should make better use of it ,in the last few mins i see a new firmware for this box so iw ill load later or in morning [when she goesout]...i have at the moment fixed on28 and am trying to get good signal on23.5 to test for channels as well as i have a couple of lnbs so great fun,hope all well in cork as is here in br co wicklow.cheers pat..
