I took the decision to perform a factory reset on my box last night. Once again I had problems setting up the connection to the Wi-Fi box. I got round the problem by switching the radio buttons from Wi-Fi and DHCP to the other prompt then back again.

There must be something in the firmware that forces the box to go searching for a WiFi connection when Wi-Fi is selected.

This should help anyone setting the box up for the first time.
Cheers.

But Azbox is doing a site survey, you must be sure that your Access Point is configured to broadcast its SSID.

When I test WiFi with latest firmware, it find my local Network and I can connect to it with my WPA passphrase.

But remember that Azbox antenna is inside the case so it may be harder for the Azbox to catch your AP signal if you are far from it.

Poor WiFi quality signal can prevent your Azbox from getting a correct DHCP address. Try to move your AP or the Azbox close to each other to see if the Azbox get the signal.
