I'm stuck trying to find the solution to this problem:

Added a few more peers to the cccam.cfg a few day's back as i've done loads of times.

However, on saving/exit in dcc my internet connection was being knocked out. Also my .cfg sometimes wasn't being saved - previous .cfg was there.

Finally got it working but any editing of the .cfg file/rebooting dm800/server stats ect, and i was losing the internet.

I've re-flashed with latest Gemini/Nabilosat/original firmware but it's still the same.

I don't even have cccam installed at the minute and my connection is dropping on the pc and dm800 - when i use the dm800.

Re-checked pc/router dns config too. Also, with the dm800 disconnected from the router i'm pretty sure i'm not losing my connection.

Not sure if it's the dm800 or the router or what?

Any ideas?

The limit for peers using CCcam and the DM800 is around 32 any more and it crashes, this has been a know issue since day 1.

Could this be the problem or am I way off the mark ?

Hi m8,

I think it was up to 31 a day or so back, this seems to be around the time that this problem started. Since then however, it's been knocking out my connection without any clines in the .cfg - currently don't have cccam even installed, so i don't think that's the issue m8.

Network test going from confirmed/unconfirmed randomly. Keep having to restart enigma to try and establish a network connection.

I know this sounds mad but when you exceed 32 peers it causes a network crash.

It does not make sense though that you have the problem when CCcam is not installed.

Although is it possible you are using Nabilo and have more than 1 CCcam.cfg via the switch ?

Have you tried a fresh installation of OoZoon in the flash and see what happens ?

i had a same problem but it was to do with EPG on nabilosat, so i reflashed my box and disabled it, its was a early version on nabilo tho. also changed cccam to version 2.10, never had a problem since.

this sound like a router problem tho. disconnect your dm and restart router then reconnect.

I've gone back to 25 peers from 31, and both the DM800 and the internet have been stable since i last posted.

So, maybe having 31 peers did crash the network after all.

Does this make sense?

I thought i would bypass the router and just connect the dm800 direct to the pc but i couldn't figure it out and gave up.

5 min later i get an email from dyndns.com saying my account had been blocked because of using a different configuration (or something). I assumed it was because i had bypassed the router.

Anyway i unblocked it and since then, and doing the above, all has been fine.

Maybe, it was blocked earlier if/when i crashed the network - i had been continually getting confirmed/unconfirmed ip address in network test and alway's 100% channels like no#a were on/off for ages.

Makes sense i think. ??

@ Dice Man

me too getting the NOCHG error message from DNS since i installed the new Belkin N router F5D8636 DNS keeps telling me i'm gonna get blocked with to many update request, everytime i booted either the DB or my PC i'd get the message and it was always blocking the same 2 peers and all 7 clients i only have 7 peers.

I've tried everything i can with the router config and all that i can with DNS updater it's not as bad as it was but i'ts still not working properly and still trying to get a fix.
