Hi all
I dont know if this is one problem or two!!!
I am running gemini on DB800, when i do a network test......

LAN Adapter
intergrated Ethernet=green OK

DHCP
Dissabled

IP Address
confirmed=green OK

Nameserver
unconfirmed=RED not OK

it doesnt matter what ip i put in here i cannot get it to confirm.
The other problem is when i try to connect to the dbox through 192.168.1.1:16001 to view the CCcam info/status it comes up FAILED TO CONNECT..........the connection was refused when attemting to connect to 192.168.1.1:16001
Can anyone tell me what the namesrver setting should be, and is the other problem related.

wots your router's Ip - that's normally the nameserver address.
you have given 1.1 as your dm address - that is normally your router address!! looks like you have 2 devices on same IP.

In First Time enable dhcp, you will be able to see the nameserver !
Copy all you need, and then enter your manual ip and disable dhcp.

btw you dont need to port forward 16001 to your dream if your only accessing it from your lan

I need 12000 and 16000/1 open for cs, i have no problems on the db500, but bought the 800 so i could have HD......... even managed to get my white card to work on the box, but cannot get it to share upstairs yet.

port forewarding is only needed for external access (Outside your LAN) so remove that rule.
If you can telnet into your box at 192.168.1.24 - then that's its address!
Make sure that Cccam.cfg has the correct port enabled:-

WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16004
(mine is 16004)

If you are using cccam on both dream, for local share, don't put your dyndns, but your local Ip on Cccam.cfg.
exemple C : 192.168.1.18 25000 dm800 dm500 no
F : dm500 dm800 2 0 0 { 0:0:2 }

I need both as i want setup on lan and wan, one upstairs and one family member. (remote)
At the moment i have taken the db500 (which i shared ) out of the living room.
and now trying to install the 800 in its place. I have installed Newcs 1.67 CCcam 2.12 Altered the configs etc......The db800 is working with white card ok on this box, but cannot get into the CCcam info page to see. I can log on through DCC and ftp etc
hope this make sense...... and thanks for the help
