How can the 800's tuner be so bad ,i got my old echostar 2600ip rec out today to test a new (B.E.S.T.)lnb and compare and nova sport on 1west does not even register yet on the echostar 2600ip i get 45-50% and a solid lock onto nova,im sure my settings are all right,i get bbc world news at about 60% SNR and 42% AGC on the dream but nothing on any digitv channels it seems to be quite atmospheric (close)today maybe thats having an effect ,

Of my 5 recievers the dm7020 is the worst, my tm5400 and tm6900 are joint top ( the 5400 will soon go as the 6900 was to replace it)and my old ad3000ipva had a good tuner, my tm9100 it can vary with image i am using but still better than average.
You are not the 1st person i have seen this from about the picture quality on the latest HD dm recievers thats why i am watching how the azbox progresses as i will buy a new box very soon

To put it simply, the DM800 is actually probably telling you the truth whereas the other signal tuners are often rigged to produce unrealistic and false signal readings.

Hello

No frequency amplifier which can be added to the DM 800HD to improve his tuner?
Thank you
