Help on format application area

Please, can someone explain how to perform "Format application area"
I have found "Format application area (option 4)" so far but not clear for me.
Where is that option 4?
Any detailed steps/info are apprecited.

Hi Goran,

Please clarify "reboot", I am rebooting but dont have that option.
Do you mean I will have it only if I perform steps 1) and 2) b4 that?
To clarify from my side: I havent done them, just rebooted the box

You can reboot the box with long pressing the Power-Button, or better you switch off the box on the backside and switch on after about 10 Seconds.

You only get this option 4 when you reboot with the USB stick in the slot with patch.bin present
