no mate! unless you want to pay about £150 to have it modded.
you can purchase the mod kit so it's a cheaper option, but you really have to know what your doing soldering etc.
or but an Oppo they are multi both BD and DVD, cheapest unit about £450
i'll stick with region B and region free i hear you say :respect-013:

watch out some are only region free for DVD!
buy 2 blu ray players: 1 for region A (USA) & 1 for region B(EU). It will cost you less.

yep m8s, read me post below- it IS possible but it's also a pain in the neck - u have to reflash each time u wanna watch a different zone BD. Furthermore, only tested with Sharp 21 (in a nutshell-go to their e-support site, dload firmware versions for BD zones of interest to u and burn bootable disks with that firmware. Be4 watching a BD of a zone other that B, reflash the bd player with the bootable disk of the zone of the disk u wanna play. May mnot work with other makes/models

actually the OPPO BDP-80 is only $299, plus a mod kit for about $60, so it's not too bad anymore price wise. I have the BDP-83 which is a little more pricey, but it's a fantastic player.
OPPO are the only decent ones when it comes to modding, no soldering required, just pull out a connector and slide the module inbetween.

Oppo are nice players but personally I would just build a HTPC and fill it up with Bluray ripps ;)
BTW a lot of BD releases don't even have region coding

The package I bought came with a handful of Blueray discs. One was actually for the Japanese market. It was the first one I put in the player and all I got was Japanese on the screen. I figured the player was screwed up. Nope just the disc.
