Hiya

I am currently on 2.1.1 but it seems pretty unstable to me. For ever having to restart the cam and even then channels don't clear !!

So can anyone please tell me

A: Would this improve with 2.0.4
B: How i take 2.1.1 off the Azbox ?

Thx

Paul

Delete lib directory inside /EMU and replace with new version... you could also try with CCC 0.2 as client instead of dvbapiCAS.

Thx mate, its literally as easy as that ? Just delete the Lib directory ?

doubt if going back to 2.0.4 will help if your only using as client for cs.

Ok, hacve done this but it is showing as 2.1.1 on ipadds:16001

Do i need to do anything on the box it self ?

Reboot solved that issue, now to see if it is more stable ;-)

Remember and let us know how you get on with it.
Sure there are plenty of others in the same boat still using 2.1.1 (myself included).

Wot problems are you encountering

When i have issues such as mine, i always think i have done something wrong, but it may just be a buggy system all in all

Basically, sometimes my CCcam page (ipadds:16001) sometimes loads up and sometimes it doesnt making me think something is wrong.
It is very hard work getting channels to clear of ten having to restart the cam then channels come on
Then they stutter (which is prob a peer speed issue)
Then the program scrambles again not to come back although all internet traffic is working no probs.
None of this was a problem with My eagle box, taht worked great

I just want a eagle box with hd, hence the AZBox but looks like not that simple !!!

Will let you know

I must say too, that the CCcam 2.0.4 is more stable than 2.1.1 on Azbox HD but not open the Sky Germany channels is crazy...

Okay, all done and i will say it is better, but not by alot, things seem to clear quicker and more regularly but dont get too excited.
It is very marginal !!

Would I do it again ? Probably, it was easy enough !!

Hope that helps

As above, I deleted the LIB directory and installed the 2.0.4 the same way you installed the 2.1.1

I am very new to all this so would not be 100% comfortable to talk you through it as i think there are a couple of ways to install a CCCam

Good luck and let us know what you think

i think that best combination for cccam is firm 2880 and cccam 2.0.4. it works better.

In what way ?
I thought that FW was meant to be more buggy than the rest ?

Yes you are right that this firm have a lot of bugs but speaking about speed its better and then less freezes. i think that they improve the speed of zapping but decreasing the speed of cccam

They didn't decrease the speed of CCcam, you need to understand how a CS network works.

With fw 2880 there was a delay in the channel you were watching so when you try to open this channel through CS you might have already the CW in cache, in fw 3177/3180 there is no delay so we have fast zapping and you have much less changes to have the CW in cache.
And if the CW is not in cache it might need more time for you to receive the CW directly from a card.

All other receivers have this fast zapping working, the slow zapping was in this case a feature that helped with decode trough CS.

If you have freezing problem it might be your peers or the lack of good virtual cards.

I use the softcam mbox and I didn't noticed any freeze related to the use of 3177/3180.

I don't know about CCcam, because I only use it with my DM500S, I hate to exchange a line with CCCam, because you have to create 2 new lines with new logins, one for server, the other for client.
With mbox is so easy, you have your line in a TXT, you give to your new peer, the new peer give their line you put in this line your used port, you put the line in cwshare.cfg and restart mbox, it's all just copy&past.
Or you can use the program MCC and use add.dat and don't even have to restart mbox.

Regards!

yes i understand but i notice that 2880 open channel quickliest than with 3880 and the same peers.also For example in sky uk no freezes only every 15 or 30 minutes but with this new firm is every 30seconds
