Hi all, According to satbeams I should be able to get digi tv on a 60cm in Canterbury - surely this is too good to be true??

Can anyone confirm this? - thanks

that would be correct: only for RCS DigiTV
Intelsat 10-02:
spot 1: 48 cm
spot 3: 50 cm <= RCS DigiTV

Thor 3: 120 cm
Thor 5: 120 cm (T1)
Thor 5: 60 cm (T2) <= RCS DigiTV

Hello Gr8Guy

Thats what LyngS@t say but they don't say by rain or sunny weahter, think 80cm is better.

Thanks all, I have my 1m andrews but my land lord won't let me attach it to the house and i'm finding it difficult getting a 3" pole to mount it on the ground. I may invest in the 60cm and attach it to the existing sky dish pole. thanks again tho!:-):-)

Put it in the garden with a terras mount or on a flat roof:

this one is 86 cm off the ground level, with the lnb 3 meters away from a garden wall 220 cm high. The white thing in front is the lnb, camera was on the dish arm.

jeeeezus...why didn't I even think of that!! That's a great idea, but it's quite literally the pole that I can't get a hold of. If i bought a custom stand i'm looking at about £100 (unless i'm getting completely ripped off) so instead I was going to just hammer a short 3" pole in the ground, but because it's over sized no where has what i'm looking for - I've tried a few scaffolders, none of which had a 3" diameter pole. annoying...

thanks tho Giga!

Try yor local metal workshop/fabricator/supplier. I got a 12 foot 3 inch steel pipe for 25 quid and Hammerited it.

Sorry, that should have been 15 foot. There's 3 foot in the ground.

I ended up hammering a wooden stake in the ground & using my CM, not sure how long it'll last but it works!
