I tried this plugin last week on experimental image in flash and worked fine, but not today.
Sreenshots are from experimental and the latest newnigma 2.7

Works fine here with OoZoon, I remember I did have to reboot after installing it.

You may need to install an updated file for the plugin to work properly.
After you install using the offline installer and restart the unit the plugin works fine.
except when you have a clone, you end up with a bricked box?

Doesn't work on my DM800 with OoZooN dev sadly :(
Hi Guys,
Anyone know where I can download this plugin from? Looked on the official site, but no joy.

You are welcome.
By the way, when the installer came from Inverness to fix my aerial in Skye, he didn't know the Dreambox and was wondering what was that strange box. Is the Dreambox well known in Scotland?
PS: my main home is in Switzerland

The dreambox should be known to satellite installers (especially those who are not sky only), but maybe not so well known to aerial installers...
Hi Achille,
I know plenty of people in Scotland with a Dreambox! I've also seen a few pubs in Scotland using one too!
Anyway, I tried installing the Genuine Dreambox plugin into my Nabilo Blackhole 11 image, but it wouldn't install. I guess it's not backwards compatible with an older CVS?

I did a manual install and got an error on that with nabilo BH 0.11G2

this plugin which is included with newnigma2 2.8 works great .
it gives you a code you have to enter here ,

you'll get lots of information about your box if it is genuine , that
you can recheck - type of box , mac address , date of production , serial no. ...etc

tried installing this download into my flash oozoon and it failed , so I updated oozoon with its inbuilt software update but this download install still failed
checking the new plugins I found you could download it direct using oozoon plugins so did so and it installed ok , then I rebooted and tested it , and it worked fine
I tried it 3 times and got 3 different codes , but all gave me the same info about my box , and all were genuine , mac address , serial number etc
now in my case the bottom panel of my dreambox was suspect , but all the internals were as per a genuine box , which is supposedly what it was , and I have never had any problems with bootloaders etc
so my conclusion is that my suspicion of my box being genuine were true and dont always go off the pictures of supposed clones or real dreamboxes , sometimes they make changes and cause genuine boxes to fall under suspicion
its nice that I can double check this quite easily so a good learning curve
