Canal Digital has a timetable for the elimination of the coding Mediaguard2 published. As of September 15 the channels available from the basic subscription package and recreation is gradually stop supporting Mediaguard2 coding.
The smartcard swap to customers who purchase subscriptions to Canal Digital will end in principle in all these by September 15. But take into account the possibility that, for whatever reason, there are subscribers for September 15 have received no new smartcard. For these customers, Canal Digitaal made a special procedure to do this within a short period of a new smart card to provide. The phasing out of the Mediaguard2 encoding is incrementally on packet level. Below an overview of the phasing.

The free channels in the standard package and the Set-top Box package remain temporarily in the Mediaguard2 encryption available. Canal Digital has not yet decided whether these packages to be migrated to the Mediaguard3 coding.
