more info m8,your location sat you want ect,is lnb too skewed you might not be on sat you think you are and its giving a reading!!,try _dishpointer.com if you havnt got a meter
Signal bar is some times a bit of a red herring and shouldn't be taken as anything meaningful ... its the quality that counts.
No quality = you aint on the sat your receiver thinks your pointing at.
Its at times like this that a meter (that can id sats) is worth its weight in gold.
look at dishpointer where you should point your dish pick 13°E or 19°E 2 strong satellites positions for receiving signals.
Have the dish pole 100% vertical.
use Recommended Elevation:
lnb skew vertical
Start now slowly moving to the east or west until you see a signal increase the moment you see it go up you're ok, the moment it drops return mm by mm to its strongest point. temporary fix at this point
now do the same for elevation, up and down until you find the strongest point of reception.
now you can start finetuning LNB skew, turning left or right to the recommended angle for your area, cross check V against H polarization.
If you don't see any signal increase, check:
the connectors
LNB power setting in your receiver.
19.2°E use this active transponder 10788 V SR 22000
13.0°E use this active transponder 10719 V SR 27500
don't use signal strength on a channel, use signal meter in the satellite setup if possible. keep in mind 1 to 2 seconds processing delay on STB.
