Come on guys this LNB section used to be the in-place for LNB information.

Lets have some suggestions on the best single LNB or other out there please. :respect-048:

I bought my Sharp White 0.03 dB on the strength of this folder and it has been a spiffing choice but I think i need a newun just now for my new 8k HD Dreambox and of course would like the very best.:respect-046:

depends on what you want to use it for, dish size, multifeed/motor, ..., ask one for testing at your dealer, before buying a new one! Or stay with the known brands.

Invacom 0.1db recommended to me by glen_911 - definately the best LNB i've had.

Just struck a deal for a Head (£14 squids posted) and a Titanium 3 (£8:99 squids posted) off the Fleabay.

I will compare them with the one I have:

Sharp 0.03 dB

Head 0.01 dB &

Tit 3 0.01 dB

and post my findings on here.

Nice thread, I bought a Smart Tit 0.2 a couple of years ago and it's been great but looks a little worse for wear so interested in the outcome of this thread.

I will go for a dual lnb this time, does that create and degradation over a singular?

what about the Invacom 0.3 dB High power LNB - is .3 better than .1?

.3 would on paper indicate worst.

Inverto Black Ultra gets excellent reviews, even though it is only rated at 0.2db, but doesn't seem to be available in UK.

NB - This is NOT the Inverto Black Premium which is available here.

On Inverto web site search for Black Ultra and you will find links for single, twin and quad versions from where you can read the specs.

Google search for European suppliers.

MTI Highline Quad is what I am using and is supposed to be the best out there. :)

But I've always been told that bigger is better

no m8 lower ,broadly speaking relates to noise level so less noise is better ,although figures are to be taken with a pinch of salt really especially 0.1 db,alot of us here had that sharp white 0.3 dave mentions after a thread here a few years back and it was an excellent lnb ,but over last 2years or so manufacturers have been coming out with 0.1's ,ive tried the B.E.S.T 0.1 db wasnt impressed but the HEAD 0.1 im using now is fantastic on my dish anyway
